Gingival recontouring can reshape gum tissues to provide a more balanced, and pleasing esthetic result for patients who may have gum height discrepancies or irregularities. 

Dr. Rubinstein is one of only a few dentists in Westchester County credentialed to perform these procedures using dental lasers, which have several advantages over traditional surgical techniques.  He can use either a diode laser, or a carbon dioxide laser to precisely and gently sculpt and reshape gum tissues.  There is minimal bleeding, disinfection of the area, no need for sutures, and minimal discomfort.
